LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Protection attorneys for Steve Canaday, who faces 73 felony youngster pornography and sexual abuse-related expenses, are asking for his bond to be lowered, calling it “extreme.”
The 62-year-old Florence man was arrested on November 23 after authorities searched his dwelling. Canaday was charged with 25 counts of possession of obscene matter depicting somebody beneath the age of 17 with the intent to distribute it, 25 counts of distributing youngster pornography, and 5 counts of manufacturing youngster pornography.
Now, Canaday faces 12 extra counts of possession of kid pornography, six extra counts of manufacturing of kid pornography, one depend of first-degree sodomy, and one depend of first-degree sexual abuse, based on courtroom data.
