Amazon was hit with a landmark equal pay class motion lawsuit this week, accusing the corporate subjecting its feminine staff to hostile working environments and underpaying them, whereas paying their male counterparts increased wages whereas assigning much less work.
The plaintiffs, Caroline Wilmuth, Katherine Schomer and Erin Combs, introduced the category motion on behalf of themselves and others equally located, within the U.S. District Courtroom for the Western District of Washington, accuses Amazon of gender-based discrimination and retaliation, failing to offer equal pay, and violation household and medical depart legal guidelines, in keeping with the complaint filed Monday.
