One other regulation agency defers begin date for some associates

Fenwick & West has pushed again the beginning date for first-year company and transaction associates.
The brand new begin date for the associates is Jan. 16, 2024. The beginning date is earlier—Oct. 16—for first-year litigation and tax associates.

Fenwick & West pays a $15,000 stipend to the associates with deferred begin dates.
Fenwick & West is the third technology-sector regulation agency to delay begin dates, in accordance with Legislation.com. The others are Cooley and Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, which stated it might defer begin dates on a case-by-case foundation.
