BigLaw agency confirms extra layoffs in enterprise companies

Shearman & Sterling is shedding further staff after an earlier spherical of cuts in February.
Shearman didn’t specify how many individuals are being laid off within the newest layoffs.
Above the Law broke the information when it obtained a memo with the announcement. Tales adopted by Reuters and Law360, which obtained affirmation of the layoffs.
The Shearman memo reported that the regulation agency was implementing “a worldwide workforce discount” in its enterprise companies crew “to align our individuals and bills extra successfully with out strategic priorities.”
In February, Shearman laid off 12 associates and 26 enterprise companies employees members in the US.
