3M would be the sole producer at trial on Monday after DuPont and associated corporations agreed to pay practically $1.2 billion to settle lawsuits alleging they contaminated the U.S. water provide with “eternally chemical compounds.”
On Friday, Napoli Shkolnik introduced a world settlement with DuPont de Nemours Inc. and two of its spinoff corporations, The Chemours Co. and Corteva Inc., alleged to have contaminated public consuming water provides with poisonous chemical compounds reminiscent of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS.
