Eckert Seamans lays off enterprise administrative professionals

Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott has laid off 2% of its enterprise administrative professionals, a legislation agency spokesperson told Above the Law.
No legal professionals had been affected, the spokesperson stated.
The layoffs happened June 1 and affected staff “throughout our agency platform,” in response to a layoffs memo obtained by Above the Legislation.
Eckert Seamans stated it made the layoffs choice after assessing “current and forecasted demand of our authorized providers.”
