Former US President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 4 felony fees on Thursday in a federal courthouse in Washington D.C. The fees stem from an indictment unsealed on Tuesday which alleged that Trump conspired to intervene within the 2020 presidential election.

Trump appeared along with his non-public counsel earlier than federal Justice of the Peace Choose Moxila Upadhyaya for his arraignment on 4 federal felony fees. Trump pleaded not responsible to conspiracy to defraud the US government, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against US voters’ civil rights. Every of these fees carries with them most penalties of 5 years in jail, 20 years in jail, 20 years in jail and 10 years in jail, respectively.
