Merger will create Southeastern regulation agency with greater than 550 attorneys
Alabama-based Maynard Cooper & Gale and Carolinas-based Nexsen Pruet have introduced a merger that may create a regulation agency with greater than 550 attorneys.
The agency will probably be often called Maynard Nexsen after the mixture, efficient April 1, based on a Jan. 5 press release. It is going to have 23 places of work in 10 states—together with California and New York—and in Washington, D.C.
The merger will make Maynard Nexsen “an Am Regulation 200 contender,” with mixed revenues that might put the agency within the No. 118 spot, based on Law.com.
Jeff Grantham, a Maynard managing shareholder, will probably be CEO and managing shareholder of the merged agency. Leighton Lord, chairman at Nexsen Pruet, will probably be president and chief technique officer. Greg Curran, chairman at Maynard, will probably be chairman of the board and head of consumer relations.
