The Missouri Courtroom of Appeals affirmed a judgment which diminished the $5.5 million punitive damages awarded by the jury to a private branding enterprise by greater than half.
In a July 18 opinion authored by Choose Alok Ahuja, the Missouri Courtroom of Appeals affirmed the discount in punitive damages awarded to family-operated, private branding enterprise All Star Awards & Advert Specialties Inc., lowering the jury award to $2,627,709.40 in punitive damages resulting from state regulation limitations.
