Nadia Murad, a human rights activist and recipient of the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize, and Yazidi-Individuals filed a civil lawsuit in opposition to French industrial firm Lafarge within the US District Courtroom for the Japanese District of New York on Thursday. The complaints are beneath civil provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act, intending to acquire compensation from Lafarge for its legal conspiracy with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
