A lawyer who labored for New York County Defender Companies has resigned after a viral video purportedly confirmed her tearing down posters displaying hostages held by Hamas.
The lawyer, Victoria Ruiz, has resigned following an inside investigation, a consultant from Ruiz’s employer mentioned Tuesday.

Earlier than Ruiz’s resignation, a spokesperson for New York County Defender Companies advised 1010 WINS that Ruiz had “apologized to those that have been harm or confused by her actions. The spokesperson mentioned the incident occurred when Ruiz attended a public vigil as a non-public citizen.
