4 disabled legislation college graduates filed a joint criticism with the U.S. Division of Justice towards the State Bar of California for allegedly violating the Individuals with Disabilities Act by failing to offer lodging for the California bar examination—and that company has already begun reviewing its insurance policies.
The 4 complainants—listed as Clarena Arbelaez, JR, Rosa Rico and RC—allege that the California bar engaged in “systemic disability-based discrimination and failure to accommodate take a look at takers with disabilities, in violation of Title II of the Individuals with Disabilities Act (ADA) and 42 U.S.C. § 12189,” in response to the criticism.
