An Ohio appeals court docket reversed and remanded a virtually $1 million jury award in a medical malpractice case after concluding the trial court docket’s evidentiary errors and defective jury instruction prejudiced the protection.
In a Sept. 1 opinion, authored by Decide Pierre H. Bergeron for the First District Court docket of Appeals of Ohio, the court docket concluded a brand new trial was warranted on account of a number of errors made by the plaintiff’s counsel towards the defendants Dr. Abubakar Durrani and the Middle for Superior Backbone Applied sciences Inc. (CAST).
