US Justice Department arrests four more men in connection with Haiti president assassination – JURIST

US Lawyer Common Merrick Garland announced Tuesday {that a} additional 4 males, three Individuals and one Colombian US everlasting resident, have been arrested over their alleged involvement within the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse. The 4 males had been later indicted by a Florida grand jury, together with seven others who had already been arrested, and subsequently attended their preliminary appearances in a Miami federal courtroom.

Garland alleged that these males “participated within the planning, financing, and orchestration” of the assassination of Moïse.
